On a very rainy September 29th, the children saw the Flood and the Ark presentation. Fortunately all the storm sewers were working and the current reality was nothing like the flood in the story! Last Sunday I presented the Great Family in Godly Play for Adults, and tomorrow our children will be introduced again to the desert box and we will begin, with the Great Family, a journey which will take us all the way to Advent. It is a long journey. I don’t know what the people ate while they trekked across this dry, barren sand. But feast in our room, until December, will not be fresh, juicy fruit! What did the people eat?
What will the children eat?
Our feast food, as we journey through the desert, is usually some kind of dried fruit. We had dried apricots on Sunday!
